Street Heat Live: Bass, Battles and Bright Lights

The Event

Hip-Hop Culture at Full Volume

Street Heat Live fuses styles on purpose: hip-hop choreography sets, breaking exhibitions, a house-music interlude and a 2-vs-2 all-styles battle judged by touring guest dancers. A live DJ scores the whole night, and the lighting rig runs hotter than anywhere else this season.

Our teen competition crew headlines, Lena Ortiz premieres a new piece with the advanced group, and the open battle welcomes any dancer brave enough to sign up at the door.
