Hip-Hop Program

Turn the Music Up. We’ll Handle the Rest.

The Program

From First Bounce to Battle-Ready

Led by national-title choreographer Lena Ortiz, our hip-hop program teaches the culture alongside the steps: grooves and foundations first, then musicality, freestyle confidence and full choreography blocks you’ll perform on stage.

Kids learn through games and routines, teens train toward our competition crew, and adults get the sweat-soaked, judgment-free workout they didn’t know they needed. Every Friday ends in an open cypher — jump in or cheer from the edge.

Good to Know

Hip-Hop Questions, Answered

That is literally our most common first sentence — and our favorite kind of student. Open-level groups break every move down to the bounce, and nobody is ever put on the spot before they are ready.

Clean indoor sneakers, comfortable clothes you can sweat in, and a water bottle. Knee pads are handy for floor-work sessions — we keep spares at the front desk.

Teens train in regular classes first; twice a year Lena holds open auditions for the crew, which rehearses twice weekly and competes nationally. Crew membership is included in the Unlimited pass.
