The Program
Classical Foundations for Every Age
Our ballet program follows a graded syllabus shaped by director Maya Richardson’s fifteen seasons on professional stages. Barre work builds alignment and strength, centre practice builds artistry — and twice a year every group performs in our black-box theatre, costumes and all.
Children start with story-driven creative ballet, teens progress through grades toward pointe readiness, and adults join dedicated evening groups where no experience is expected and everybody belongs.

Ballet Questions, Answered
Anything stretchy they can move in — leggings and a fitted top are perfect. Ballet shoes can be borrowed from our studio wardrobe for trial classes, so there is nothing to buy before you begin.
Usually after two to three years of consistent training, and only after passing our strength assessment. Safety comes before satin shoes — our physiotherapist checks ankles, alignment and core control first.
Absolutely — our Monday and Saturday adult groups are built for first-timers. Half the room started after thirty, and the atmosphere is encouraging rather than competitive.
